eBay Find of the Day: Ferrari Enzo + Golddigga
Yahoo! News is reporting that a woman in Germany is auctioning off her Ferrari Enzo on eBay with a little added-value bonus – herself. The 26-year-old who claims she worked as a singer in Syria has put the starting price at $1.6 million, and while we have yet to find the actual eBay listing for the car and its cargo, Yahoo! News reports there has yet to be a bid. At the time of this writing, the only two (1, 2)Enzos on eBay Motors did not include a woman with their purchase price. The woman, who goes by the name of Leila, says she'll meet prospective buyers, but requires a bidder's passport and proof of capital. Good thing we never leave home without proof of capital, otherwise that'd be one very awkward first date.
One of the Enzos on eBay that has only 465 miles on its odo can be bought for the Buy It Now price of $1.2 million, which means this woman believes she's a steal at $400,000.

Attractive girl. Can't say the same for the Enzo. It's quest for hyper-performance led to design decisions that made it rather ugly.

It should be noted that she has 100% positive feedback.
I wish I had known what my last girlfriend's feedback was.

Jason: You can't find beauty in function? What are you doing looking at cars?

Thi is a joke, right? Why would a rather good-looking woman with enough cash to buy an Enzo auction herself off on Ebay?! There are some weird people in this world.

This is totally a scam. "Requires a bidder's passport and proof of capital." Riight. Then, when you try to meet "her" you can't find her and get an email when you get home, "Sorry I didn't find you. Where were you?" Aww shucks.

At that price, she better do all the scheduled maintenance and oil changes on the Enzo (not to mention, some maintenance on the owner too).

Q: What do you get when you mix a man with more money than sense, a car too powerful for that same man to handle, and a desperate woman teetering at the brink of insanity?
A: Best. Enzogate. Ever.

Looks to me like she's more interested in selling two tickets to the World Cup final...

So where does it say she is auctioning herself?

So, what's the price without the "extra baggage"?
Seriously.

Err, I think whoever wrote that article made a lot of crazy jumps in logic.
Apparently her About Me page is kind of like a personal ad, but it has nothing to do with the ferrari auction itself. Or for that matter, the world cup tickets.
So basically she wants a man, but the ferrari seems to be a separate thing. But maybe she's hoping the ferrari buyer will be a hot rich dude who doesn't care about her money and will like her for her. But she's not actually auctioning herself with the car, lol.
Crazy speculative article lol.

An Enzo's an interesting item for someone to be selling when the rest of their items seems to be 1 Euro DVDs.
Just another scammer.
More interesting than that, is that yahoo's news page would carry it. Oh wait, maybe because it's cross promoting their new buddy eBay?
